Kimberly Schneider
Bio
Ms. Kim was born and raised in Sheboygan, WI. She started dancing tap and jazz at the age of 5, and her first dance was called the “Penguin Ch Ch”. She continued to dance on her high school dance team and since has coached and taught poms and hip hop across the country. Ms. Kim went to college at the University of Minnesota and Cardinal Stitch.
Her ballroom dancing began when her parents brought her to a Friday night party at the studio. As a ballroom dancer she has won numerous awards including: Wisconsin regional Theater Arts champion, Emerald Ball Rising Star Rhythm finalist and Cincinnati Rising Star Rhythm champion. As a teacher her awards include: 3x top Wisconsin regional teacher, top guest getting teacher of the year and many quarterly awards in working with both advanced and beginner students. In 2010, Ms. Kim was promoted as the director of the new student department.
When Ms. Kim is teaching she likes to work hard and play hard. Students learn quicker when they are having fun. She finds that dance gives her students confidence and sees that it brings her couples closer together. When she dances, she enjoys transmitting emotions to the audience.
When Ms. Kim is not dancing she likes to explore Milwaukee like she's a tourist in her own city.
"There is a bit of insanity in dancing that does every body a great deal of good.
