Mara Wagner

Bio

Ms. Mara was born and raised in Appleton, WI. Her mother taught her first ballroom and Latin dance steps as a child. Later she studied ballroom and Latin at the Adagio studio in Appleton and the Martinez Dance Studio in New York City. She is also trained in jazz, modern, hip hop, ballet, belly dancing and burlesque.

Before coming to the studio, Ms. Mara lived in New York City and has performed in many off Broadway productions, television, film and print ads.

Ms. Mara is known in the studio for her attention to detail and her off beat sense of humor on and off her lessons.

When she is dancing she feels like it is what she is meant to be doing. When she is not dancing she enjoys reading, cooking, watching TV and doing hair (she is also an Aveda trained cosmetologist).
