I lost 25lbs completely by accident
Many people want to lose weight but diets don't always work. Instead, lose weight dancing. Dancing is a form of exercise many people love. You can dance in the privacy of your own home, whenever and wherever you want. So have fun dancing and watch the pounds melt away. She may have been eliminated from Dancing with the Stars, but every cloud certainly has a silver lining for legal eagle Nancy Grace. The 52-year-old TV commentator told Anderson Cooper that she had lost at least 25lbs in her eight weeks competing on the show.
'I lost 25 pounds that I know of,' she told the talk show host on his program Anderson, which aired on November 10th, 2011. The star revealed that she gained weight when pregnant with her twins, John David and Lucy, four. 'I never really cared about it or bothered to lose it,' she said. 'I lost it like this, so I'm happy about it.'
She was asked if she would continue to dance for health reasons: 'Yes I will, because I know it's very healthy,' she told Anderson. 'You know my dad's a heart patient ... so I do want to live healthier; but I'm not going to have a pro dancer eight hours a day so I don't know what's going to happen.'
However, the star did admit she hadn't exactly been watching the scales since she started in the contest back in September which has seen her commute between her home in Atlanta and L.A. where the show is filmed.
'It's incredible. I didn't even try...I've lost it completely by accident,' she recently told ABC News. 'I don't know about the inches,' she said. 'I didn't have a scale out here in Los Angeles, but I finally went and bought one.'
Nancy said her husband, banker David Linch is as impressed with her figure now as he was before her weight loss. 'The truth is he thought I looked great the other way,' she said of her husband's reaction. 'My advice is if your guy doesn't like you how you are, you need to find a new guy.'
